"Podium" missions (Novice, Prodigy) bugged?

The missions for finishing in the top 3 of a race seem to only count in the tournament mode, not in league. Is this an oversight or just a way to incentivize tournament play?

Scratch that, it seems to be random whether it registers or not, even in tournaments. Just ran the tourney with three podium finishes and the Podium missions didn't advance at all.

This is a small bug. It currently only counts when you finish in exacty the 2nd or 3rd place, instead of in the top3. It will be fixed in the next update.
