I use wireless xbox controllers for testing and so far haven't had any problems. So hopefully we can find out why it's going wrong for you.
First off, are they wireless? If so have you an official wireless dongle and have you installed the drivers for them?
If they're wired you'll just need the drivers and they should work straight off.
If you're still having problems there's another option in the main menu that might help. If you go to options then controllers there's a tick box for using direct input. If you tick that then try playing and see if it makes any difference for you.
Let me know how you get on.
Thank you for your answer. I haven't got official xbox360 controllers, mine are thrustmaster gpx wired controllers (http://www.thrustmaster.com/en_UK/products/gpx) and it works with every games playable with xbox360 gamepads, and the ligths for player 1 an 2 are ON when i try.. I had already tried the tips that you gave me in your message, but that was without success:( I think I will try with JoyToKey and I hope it will work this time! maybe you could have another tips for me;)
+Best regards+
+Best regards+
I was hoping the tick box would have worked though as that defaults back to the original Unity controller code :/
Might take us a bit longer to sort this out then. We'll have a more in depth look into it and let you know what we find!
Both have xinput support.
