thank you for your time
I had a very similar problem and I managed to fix it through the config files as well. I don't have the configuration files in front of me at the moment but what happens when the screen goes blank? Does an error message appear from your monitor? Did you try running the program in windowed mode (I'm pretty sure there was an option for that in the config files I mentioned)?
Good luck getting any support from either of the two companies CI won't support it due to it's age. In any case, I remember contacting them about this very issue previously and they told me to reinstall the game...
thaks for information. with me it worked.
+1 to you Sir
BTW post above, the game needs the file to be called VideoSettings.scr not VideoSettings.txt you can edit the scr with a text editor to make the changes as jimbo8098 and FHZombie1 state. This is common in Techland chrome engine games.
BTW, any one know of a tweaking guide for this or the chrome engine 2 (which this apparently uses)? I don't see much in the guides section...
In fairness, the game is years old now. If it helps, there's some graphics settings in the same file if I remember rightly but there's no documenation on them or anything else in that file.
