This might help with USA mission 4, never seem to generate enough money to keep buying locomotives to reach that 100 goal.

There are a couple other cheats.
I'm not big on cheating myself haha, but when I lose my Campaign progress due to reinstalling the game or something, I like to skip Campaign levels back to where I was.

Control + Alt + W = Skip Level

I seem to remember in the original version they did a patch to allow you to turn the signaling system off. Signalling should be handled locally and is a level of micromanagement I'm not really interested in. Does this version have that option? I'd love to play this again, but what I'm really jonesing for is Industry Giant 2.

Signals are optional. But this steam version has still no AI-players, what means it lacks a key feature of the original game. And there is NO support at all.

Sad to say but avoid this game.
An info for you about "industry Giant 2". The same fraud-like publisher released this pile of ... "Transport Giant".

Thanks, Vandalen. I just got IG2, and it works just fine on my laptop. It looks like UIG has really put some work into it; maybe they'll put some into TG now. :)

It's stupid to tell ppl not to buy a game just because an earlier game doesn't work well. Different game, different issues. Just 'cause one didn't work doesn't mean ALL the other games from the same company isn't going to work as well.

IGII runs fine for most people (and it's a great game too), and the devs released a patch recently that fixed a crash that people have been experiencing, including me. I guess the Steam version of TG is 'crap,' but I got the game from Gamersgate and it runs perfect for me.

But IGII has nothing missing (that I am aware of) and it's getting patches, which goes back to what I just said. Just because a previous game doesn't work right doesn't mean every other game in the series is going to be just as bad.

I never mentioned something like that in this thread. I just gave the info that IG2 Steam has the same publisher as TG Steam.

My guess is that they removed them after the big update because players were using them to cheat the campaign mode.
