Tooltip text glitch/distortion

This remake of the game work marvelous for me with one exception. The tooltip text for pretty much everything is messed up. It look like it has been distorted graphically. If I knew how to submit an image here I would but, for now I guess I am mostly just curious if others have encountered this and make the remakers aware of it. I have a GTX 560 Ti graphics card and a AMD FX 6350 CPU. If any other knowledge of hardware is relevant please let me know.

So glad to have a proper functioning version of this wonderful game. Too bad you are getting so much flak from people who haven't understood that this is a remake...

For me, disabling the Steam overlay fixed the tooltip corruption.

press printscreen button above home,del,pageup,pagedown and copy in paint then upload the image to imgur post the link here enjoy ;)

Disabling Steam overlay work like a charm. How on earth did you figure that out? I would never have thought of that :)

Now this game works flawlessly, can't believe I can play this game problem free (so far) gotta love this rerelease/remake. Time to start my steel conglomerate!

Remake? It's the same game - Just with a bit of patching for modern systems. ;)

great, worked for me too
now the only issue left is a irregular flickering screen

Right click the game title in your library and open property.

Thamns. Ive done that but still no joy. I've set compatibility to windows 7, run as administrator yet my text is still odd. Ive taken a screen shot.

Im running nvidia gtx 1080.

Any suggestions

when i turn off the overlay the fonts are not distorted anymore but they still have weird fragment like lines coming off of them

same thing happening to me, running a gtx 950. tried compatibility modes but didnt work. turning off steam overlay just fixes the tooltip glitch
