Beware, this is not from the original developers and can be considered a fan made proejct. This is the actual successor of Industry Giant 2: https://www.conda.eu/startup/der-industrie-gigant-der-grosse-aufbruch/

But I don't know what the state on that is atm...

EDIT: Apparently, reading the news on the project page, it is still a go and underway, although there haven't been any news since June...

Actually your wrong Kings Hound UIG is coming out with IG3 but they have not actually released a lot of details on It But UIG has said that It's in deep development but they will tell us more information as the release gets closer. Industry Transporters is not at all related IG2 It is based on transport giant please Kings Hound get your damn facts straight before posting.

Dude, nothing I said wasn't true. If you followed IT from beginning, you would know the game changed its name. Before you call me out, check YOUR facts.

BTW look at what original OP is talking about - IG3 he SAW ON KICKSTARTER, which IS the one that changed it's name - due to UIG making them do this. You're confusing 2 games here.

As it seems there was a trademark for some european countries for IG3, I had to change the name. Most stuff wont change, only the hopemage is moving to a new domain and the name is now: "Industry Transporters". Also the vidoes need to be reuploaded and it might take a few days.

Here i will post updates and new to the project of industry giant 3. First of all, I am working on the english version of my homepage, at the moment its only german. First of all I will try to tell you guys a bit about the project. The game itself will be mostly like his former parts. I want to stay near this concept while trying to add new functions and more depth to the game and also new graphics. At the moment the project is in a state where I try to get enough founds to start an alpha version of this game. I would be grateful if you guys would support this project. The site for donations will come with the english version of it and a lot more infos about the project. I will post some screenshots and here is a link to an older ingame video. A new one will be soon done

One more thing, here's the original website from Industry Transporters whcih used to be IG3. Can you read the URL? What's it say? http://www.industriegigant3.de/DE/Index.html

The game the OP inquirs about is "Industry Transporters" (formerly known as "Industry Giant 3" whose developer doesn't hold the rights to that brand so he changed the name), and the REAL Industry Giant 3 is called "Industrie Gigant: Der große Aufbruch". So both of you are right ;)

UIG has said that IG3 was already in development prior to them re-releasing IG2 to us. but hopefully they will give us some news on IG3. UIG has been pretty quiet on IG3 and It's development so I don't expect It to be out until late 2016 maybe 2017. In the meantime I think that everyone here wishes that UIG would release the IG2 editor so we can make our own maps for the game. The one is that found here is a very bad editor.

To early to say but for the fan of old school game like RR3 or Transport tycoon or even Industry Giant 2.IWe should have an alternative soon.

They also said that they would be releasing the editor as well which is false because they have not done that. So my opinion is that If we do get IG3 it's probably going to be a watered down version of IG2 with no editor included. Folks don't get your hopes up for IG3.
