Clone vehicles

Hi all,

I have this copy on disc and the steam version,

On the endless maps on steam I have found I cannot clone the vechicles and instead I have to buy then set up a new route- This is a nightmare with over 30 vehicles and not knowing what the route was and I just end up spending every couple of minutes setting up new routes- Can this be solved?

You sure you pressing the right button? I've just tested and works perfectly.
The problem with you might be that the vehicle tech is too old and no longer exists, thus he can't clone a vehicle whom type no longer exists. You'll have to upgrade the fleet before cloning. And yes, you'll have to upgrade one by one.

Hi, I think I may have not explained right- When a vechicle breaks down I have no option to clone- I'm sure in the gold-add on there was a option to do this so you did not have to re set another route or cargo. it set up a new vechicle with the same route and cargo.

On this version I just get to see broken vechicle where it has broken down no options

Try going to the vehicle list (bottom bar) and see if the broken vehicle has an option to repair/clone/replace from there. I do remember that when they break down the cloning is not so obvious. Next time put repair workshop on some stations to avoid that, the buying price isn't that much and maintenance doesn't scale too much.

On this version it does not show in the list, I also cannot click on the number of the vehicle either for the options, there is also no option to clone broken down vehicles.

I did let it run full speed yesterday and all 37 Vehicles end up breaking down even tho there are repair workshops on every single site.
I'm guessing this version is not the gold-add on.

It is the gold indeed, something is wrong with your game. Have you moded it or something?
I do agree tho that there's only clone option when you select the vehicle's route.

No mods at all just plain vanilla flavour- I'm kinda guessing that I have broken the game as this
is a huge map with 25+ hours on it and my fingers in a lot of pies :-)
