Where are all the industry giant 2 MODS at?

I love this game with a passion since 2002 onwards and would love to stick some cool mods and maps on but looking about i cannot find any, nothing in the workshop and the last map i tried from a random forum didn't work so where are all the cool maps and mods id expect this game to have by now?

I don't think there was a lot of mods..
Possible they disappeared after developers JoWooD was sold.

Well i think its about time IG2 got a modern boost, i've played this game for more hours than i care to admit (years in total :D) because of my job i get lots of spare time and i literally had a laptop running xp with no internet connection hooked into a 40 inch tv and just IG2 on it nothing else from 2005 till 2015 over 3 laptops lifespan in my office, then it died about 5 years ago and i couldn't get the disc to work on anything new till steam brought this baby out.
