Multiplayer savegame crash bug

Unfortunately after 23.01 patch it still exists. Im unable to load savegames from lan session.

Same here. Was playing with a friend for hours, saved, and a day later, we wanted to continue. But then it keeps crashing, every time when we selected the save file.

Hopefully they'll fix that cause it's a bit frustrating, when you play hours and hours on a game and then you cant continue it.

GOG version works perfectly so it has something to do with steam.

Me and my friend tried the GOG version now, but it still keep crashing with the newest version of IG2. Maybe you where using an older version of IG2 from GOG?

Its latest version, if you added steam saves to saves folder it remove them. It works for me.

Hello guys. We started to play multiplayer, and tried to save/load our game... Save is visible, but the button to load this save is inactive. Could you give a hint how to load multiplayer game?
We did it so:
1) We started new LAN game
2) Tried to choose savegame and load it

Ok, I get how to load savegame - it's visible in lobby in maps list. But I have now same exception as you.

Hello my Friends (-: MULTIPLAYER SAVE GAME BUG

Problem can´t load a multiplayer Save game.

After Klick on a Multiplayer Save game, IG2 Crash to the Deskop.

1. i test my workaround, copy the mpsave file to the maps order.
2. After this step the map can be klick !
3. but after starting/loading the map the game crash always to the desktop (wrong config file is display by my friend.

4. Any Standard Map you copy to the mpsave order crash also. I meen the mpsave order is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥.and the mp save files also... )-:

SUPPLEMENT

Copy your Multiplayer Save game from mpsave to maps an load the game it works.
If you build any Object in the Game you cant load the multiplayer Savegame.

The bug is due to the buldings in the multiplayer savegame, thats fact !°!!!!!!
