I don't see a way to play with friend online yet

Cute little co-op game that is similar to that of "It Takes Two" but much shorter, less story and no collectibles. It could really use a sensitivity option or some field of view options as it is real touchy can make for some frustrating play at times. I wouldn't say it saved my marriage as it can create for some argumentative moments as one could leave the other behind in some parts. The respawn is also super quick and disorienting. For a quick free 2 player game it's not too bad, just tweak work with that sensitivity is the hard part.

There is no ONLINE CO-OP, it is LOCAL ONLY.
You could possibly do a remote desktop share but it would not be recommended.

I'm sure this is a fun little game, but this isn't the 1990's, we don't play together on couches for a PC game.
Add remote play/invites.

Game was good, fun and adventurouse. Beginner friendly :)

My Experience

I must say, I'm surprised to see Spark & Kling land in mixed review territory. At the same time, it does seem that fewer gamers than ever play in true local co-op (I know I don't), and Spark & Kling doesn't seem to support Steam's Remote Play Together feature. A lot of gamers that might be interested in the title don't have a good way to play it (or someone to play it with?). Personally, I used Parsec to share screens/inputs with my co-op partner, which worked like a dream.

I played Spark, the electric spider, while my co-op partner was the conductive gel blob Kling. Spark accumulates a number of electric spiderlings that can be shot like projectiles, which can either activate electronic devices (such as toy dogs) or give Kling a double, triple, or even quadruple jump. Kling can use their gel balls to weigh things down or create a path of balls for Spark to jump through and traverse longer distances.

The only issues I found with the game were:

• It was sometimes impossible for me to jump into the gel balls with Spark when they were placed on certain surfaces, requiring my partner to try different spots on the same surface or different surfaces altogether.
  
• The camera could sometimes make platforming more difficult, as it was challenging to ascertain depth from certain perspectives.

Otherwise, I had a fantastic time with the game. I must admit, however, that I always find gameplay environments like this to be really fun - Tinykin, where you platform around a human-sized home as an ant-sized man leading a crowd of small creatures (the titular Tinykin), was one of my absolute favorite 2022 releases. Spark & Kling is quite a creative title that deserves more attention. Hopefully, developer Cozy Labs will figure out how to add the Remote Play Together feature to the game soon so others can experience it.

This game is a complete disaster - the camera damage the eyes and brain, the settings interactions are laggy, and the overall gameplay quality is truly questionable. This is fine for a course project for a 1st-2nd year student, but otherwise it's a hard no.

At least it's free though, 1/10

This is a fun little game for people who like the traditional couch co-op.
Those who complain: "This game has no online."
Go outside and touch some grass.
If you want online games go play fortnite.
Now don't bad review a game just cuz yo ass doesn't have any friends in real life to play with on a G0DD4MN COUCH!
