Movement controls
Is there any chance of getting the camera unlocked so that you can use the mouse to change direction and steer the char while walking rather than having to use A, D or S? Because if not then this is a hard pass for me.

Also how do you move the tools to the hotbar so that they can be equipped, I guess I missed that part in the tutorial, overall the menu and controls are not so user friendly.

After googling it I see that this game releases on consoles the same time as pc which explains why the mechanics are so awful, it was designed with console play being a priority, and the pc gets a substandard version, another cheap port job, ugh, no thanks.

couldn't stand the locked camera, I'll wait until the fix it to play it.

I would't count on a fix.

Good thing though is there are plenty of other games of the cozy genre that are built for the pc that later build a secondary modified version that will work within the limited capabilities of a console.
Hopefully the developers will add keybinding so that I can move the character with the arrow keys, otherwise I will pass on this game too. Also the locked camera is indeed quite annoying.

If they unlocked the camera you wouldn't need the arrows to move the char, you could simply turn the mouse to the direction that you wanted to move in, it's so much better than having to fumble finger the kb.
As someone who gets motion sickness I love the locked camera. So many games don't take into consideration people who get motion sickness.

Took awhile to adjust, after playing other games. Now it seems fine and with the water fertiliser, even better.

Motion sickness can happen if you spin the camera to fast. It can also be caused by a poorly optimized game, or head bobbing that can't be turned off.

Also some games such as Dinkum have a setting to unlock the camera so that players can pick the option that works best for them, locked or unlocked.

You can switch between the toolbar and the inventory using the mouse wheel. Then use Q/E.

The movement controls are terrible. Getting from the keyboard to the square diagonally is almost impossible. Couldn't they have added mouse support?

For a camera, complete freedom is not needed - 30 degrees would be enough there. Visibility is poor through the transparent trees.
