EDIT: I don't know if other players have encountered it but it appears that the Snugglepedia no longer works. Cutscenes will play after defeating the monsters but re-watching them is no longer possible. I tried using your D E L code to reset my progress but it did not make a difference.
Do you talk about the steam or the gog version? (they are esentally the same but just to be sure)
EDIT: I found the culprit! For some reason the latest version does NOT like controller support. I have an Xbox One controller which works fine for gameplay but the Snugglepedia doesn't seem to like it very much. If I use the keyboard (with the controller unplugged) everything appears to be working normally. It's odd though... your previous version worked fine with controller support so I'm not certain what broke in the interim.
Second edit: The scenes can still be viewed with the controller plugged in simply by pressing the ENTER key. For whatever reason though the controller button will not work for viewing but you can still move around and toggle sound with it so it's easy to work around this bug.
