Windows 8.1 Rumtime error 217 at 001B2E14

Every time I try to launch the game Rumtime error 217 at 001B2E14 pops. I have verified the files and there is no compatibility tab under the Properties menu. Any help?

I have the same issue with Windows 7 64 bit... i'll try some compatibility options

I have the same problem, looks like we are doomed because we can't set any compatibility status. Also, I don't have any .exe file, only a .url for some reason

i fixes the run time error follow this.typ in MSCONFIG press enter click on tab, click on advanced options. set # procesors to 1 then set maximum memory to 2048 reboot, then play the game.
