when i try to start the patch.exe i always get an error

"The program can not be started because dxerr9ab.dll is missing on the computer. Reinstall the program to correct the problem."

already re-installed and updated DirectX, but still getting this error. can you guys help me out with that?

Win 10 x64

So it means its not working any more any ideas?!

There is an option for hardware mouse within the game, try it with it off if it is on or on if it is off.

Hi. I was having the same problem with said .exe patch. So, I use in-game limited resolution but with Nvidia Control Panel (NCP) to maintaining the original aspect ratio (16:10 with letter box).

You can google it "nvidia control panel maintain aspect ratio".

PS. I have no luck fixing the game being freezed on mouse movement. Tried forcing FPS locked on NCP and many more from the internet. Still, no luck.
