FPS drop when mouse moving

Since this monday my window update and graphic card both update automatically. When I play Act of war no matter DA or HT both fps drop when the mouse moving. DOes anyone have the same problem and how to fix it? Thank you

For me it was the nvidia drivers. I was trying to find a way to fix it and new drivers popped up a few minutes ago version 461.09 actually released on the 7/1/21.
They stopped the fps drop on mouse movement.

Ok that is strange.
For a while after installing the new drivers everything ran smooth but then during the game it got worse and worse till it was back as it was where you could freeze the game by keeping the mouse moving.

Ok you could try this. If you have a mouse where you can lower the polling rate then that seems to have improved things for me.
For a logitech mouse go to ghub and click on your mouse and it's under sensitivity and is report rate. Mine was defaulted to 1000 but lowering it steadily made the fps in the game better till the minimum (125) made it not perceivable.
Not a great fix but if it works it at least gives options.

so i tried the polling rate thing and it worked for like 10 minutes then went back to lagging any suggestions?

Yeah mine seemed to improve for a while but slowed over time.
It seems to be related to recent NVIDIA drivers.
Rolling back the drivers seems to correct the slow down. (I went for 457.51)
The good thing is it is affecting multiple games (DOW and Supreme Commander) so I would hope that would increase the chances of a fix.

I have sent a display driver feedback report to NVIDIA. If you also feel the recent drivers are the issue the form is here:

The issue affects the Supreme Commander games and they have it listed in the open issues of the driver so hopefully we can expect a fix, at some point.

Is there already a solution ???
My mouse is Logitech Mx 3, same problem, I can't change the dpi of the mouse, or does someone know how to do that?
