But milk and eggs are not refrigerated. It can't be US based. Also, on their steam page they spell "neighbourhood" with the non-US "u".

Also a lot of the products, though obviously fake, definitely seem French (a lot of AB logos, French cheeses) or at least European in style.

So the assets are Unity they are used in many SIM games you cant use them as a location ref point. Also when you break out of bounds you can see image reflections on buildings with Eastern Euro writing. Otherwise good question!!
