when you look at the "franchise board" screen, right below it should be a desk with tablets. pick up the tablet and make sure that your cursor (controlled by mouse wheel) is hovering over the red X. once you've done that, right click the reigster/shelf or whichever piece of furniture you'd like to delete :)
