Need WAY more supermarket space for produce update

I was super excited to add produce to my store but the size of the new shelves require a ton of space, more than I am willing to remove from my current setup to add a new 'produce department'. I appreciate that you added more storage space, but I could have used more supermarket space instead/as well.

The way i have my store setup I moved my pharmacy and was just able to make it barely fit def need more space. Hopefully can utilize the pink space for more supermarket space. Pleazeeee devs can we have this

Interesting that with all of the new produce added to my store (day 70 and level 68 with 8 franchise points left that I have nothing to spend on), I still have 6 rectangles left to purchase for my store and 2 original storeroom spaces left, and I still have plenty of space for every single item on the shelves with many products doubled or tripled on the shelves. Curious as to how you are running out of space? Not a criticism, just an honest question?

I prefer to dedicate 1 entire storage shelf to each available item in the store, and those items that can not support more than ~20 items receive multiple shelves (e.g. toilet paper gets 4 shelves). I like having a stock of 100+ of each item out on the sales floor at a time. Having been playing in the 'end game' for quite some time before many of these new items got patched in, I decided to fill my store with the available items. For these reasons, my store is full minus ~3 shelves for room to expand. Not saying that I couldnt reduce the amount of shelves each item gets, but it would be a large undertaking to reorganize my store at this point and would highly prefer to just expand.

Next patch will add 10 more expansions to the left of the store. We are trying to improve behaviors efficiency here and there, how are you noticing performance when the store grows?

I have a full store on max difficulty on day 80+ and performance has never been an issue for me except for completely expected frame drops when loading a new day and saving the game. VERY excited to hear there are plans for store expansions in the very next patch! Thanks for your reply DDNTL!

Good to hear, next patch also scratches around a 10% FPS boost by optimizing some code.

I am ahead of the game, i need more stuff add to be sold still have lots of room to put stuff. Not many items need 2 shelf's. Most items only need 1. Paper needs 3 full shelf's for each paper and the beer kegs only need 2 per a keg. New items fruit and vegges need 2 spots for each one. Total of 6 holders. Have 4 cashiers, 3 security, 3 to stock shelf's. Host public game every now and then let people get the $1mil achievement.

I never had issues with frame drops or space (store/storage) but I defo need more staff to refill shelves.
