Reaching Out – Supermarket Together on CurseForge
I wanted to reach out regarding Supermarket Together and its modding potential. I'm currently in discussions with CurseForge to get the game added to their platform for mod distribution.

There’s a growing modding community around the game, and an unofficial Discord server actively discussing and creating content. However, I’ve noticed you don’t have direct contact with that community, and I’d love to bridge that gap.

If you’re open to it, I’d like to set up a three-way chat with CurseForge to discuss the next steps and ensure this process aligns with your vision for the game.

You can reach me on Discord at "Mitche" or via email at "ZackMitchell1211@live.com". Let me know if you’d be interested!

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Bump. As a SMT modder I would like to see this happen as well.
I'd love to see this too! SO much potential with modding this game and curseforge is super reliable and accessible for all:)

Yep! We are on Thunderstore and Nexus, but do not prefer Nexus due to some issues I would not like to get into haha. Opening up modding to Curseforge would be great for greater mod support as well as just getting a ton more eyes on the game!
i think the game should be on all modding platforms we need assets not just mods

Indeed there will be a time when updates will be more spaced out and the ideal situation would be to attempt to give the community sensible modding tools and more contact. Have to study several documentation in order to implement, p.e. Steam workshop support, and its viability for hooking it into the game... right now the current flow of updates basically eats all main dev's time.

We are looking for a better option them steam workshop and are prepared to assist you in this implemention aswell as have some things I would heavily prefer to discuss in private if you were so willing!
Bump. There is a large, dedicated community providing a lot of support to new and current players of the game and we would love to get involved. This could be a great opportunity for everyone!

As someone who adores simulator games, from trucking sims down to running a supermarket, I probably have a thousand hours in sims all combined. If there's one thing I can attest to is that modders will almost always be the first line of adding cool new features, and in my various talks in Mitche's discord with them as well as other members, it's blatantly clear that this game is perfect for modding and having a vibrant scene while the devs focus on the basic mechanics, adding new features, new mechanics, new items, etc. I'm not a dev or a modder, but I've been a mod scene lover since early Skyrim days and sim games thrive when modders are shown that the devs pay attention to their community through the mods that are so frequently downloaded. The stronger a bond between the community and the devs the stronger the game, in my opinion. Mitche and their discord have been very kind and helpful in a way that makes me personally feel more welcomed and valued than a community that doesn't have modding or it's modding it's heavily restricted, hear them out and it will help the game.
I love this game, and love the community behind it, and for it to also possibly go into curseforge as well? That's awesome! If the supermarket together devs see this and want to be apart of this, then I'm sure the game would be so much better than it already is!

Bump. I've been a part of the discord community for a while now and the community is very kind and helpful. I feel like the possibilities that modding with curseforge could give can be huge, and a workshop would probably not cut it
I agree with all the above. In the earlier days I was looking for ANY way to join shops because I was kicked out of every public lobby in seconds (I just want to cashier man). Found the aforementioned Discord and not only do I now have new friends that I'm actually building and growing shops with, people are sooo clever with the things the devs put out in updates.

I'm not a technical cookie so I know next to nothing about how to make mods, but this game feels like it got so big in a short time. And there are so many clever people who could take this game to another level. Love all the weekly updates, I don't think it will take away from the hard work the devs put in all the time. I really think getting something like Curseforge involved would reach even more people and make the game more amazing than it already is!
Has there been any word on this? I'm active in the community and would love to see more collaboration.
As part of the modding community i'd really love to see this happen. The modders we have in SMT discord are working TOGETHER to create the best possible mods for the game. The community is very nice and extremely welcoming.
