How do I get an achievement for catching thieves with camera system?

So I tried doing it but when I click on them, it still marks them as green checkmark and doesn't do anything else. I definitely checked over 10 and still don't have the achievement. Do I have to catch them when text after stealing is still showing or how does it work?

You are doing it right. Maybe increase difficulty. There are deffinately thiefs. If there is a thief, you will see a red sign (a mask or so) and then a green sign.

In order to get achivement you have to check over 500 customers (green ticks) and second one is you have to find 10 thieves. If you find thief it will be a red mark of a robber and green tick above his head.

I got the achievement today on the easiest setting, so it's working. Just have to keep clicking until you see the red mask on the customer 10 times. Note: I did get this around the same time as I got the achievement for checking over 500 customers, so it may mean that you find one thief after checking approximately 50 customers.

It works just fine, you need find 10 that are marked with RED icon, so keep clicking.

yeah but it doesn't mark them with red X, only with gteen checkmark
and i know i need to click on the customers with that X dollar above their head

No, you click every customer that comes from the door to inside until get 10 red marks, you do NOT have to wait to mark ones with the X! It did take me about 3 or 4 store days to get all 10 marked.

I was doing that but I was never able to mark customer with red X, all of them (and I marked at least 600 as I have achievement for marking 500) had only green checkmarks

If you see the red X, it is to late. Best way is to click every incoming, new customer. To achive that more easily, you should have one entry only.

Yes!

As long as the customer is in the shop and has not yet completed the last item on the shopping list, you have time to click on the customer.
