Host connection lost

I downloaded the game today, and I tried to join a friend's lobby. However, whenever I tried to join, I got stuck the "Host connection lost" screen. This happens with almost every lobby I join, and when I made my own lobby, my friend wasn't able to join, getting the same exact error.

I have tried turning off my firewall, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, verifying the game's files, allowing it through my firewall, downloading the file provided by the developer to fix a similar issue, resetting my router, and more (basically every solution I could find on the discussions). I do not have any antivirus or anything similar that should interfere with the game.

By taking a look at the logs I can confirm it is related to when the game tries to establish a connection with Steam's servers and lobbies... and it fails, so it must be something network related. I'll leave a message to the main dev for any ideas...

You are not using any VPNs, right?

I was not using any VPNs while playing the game. I hope you are able to find a fix, I will continue to try and connect to lobbies. Thank you for responding to my post, and I hope you have a good day!
