TV not working at all with DLC

I cant implement any YT links cause it always says that it cant find the URL or stuff like that, and also can my friends not see the stuff on screen cause they dont have the DLC?

True, as it is more as an aesthetic thing linking the browser to TVs is for now restricted to DLC.

Could you post here an example of the YT link you are trying to sync? Might have to adapt the code to convert more complicated links or extensions not being .com

Host must be enable browser sync, autosync and youtube videos option. Joining clients must just enable autosync.
Try first with a simple sample video like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3ICNMQW7Ok to confirm it works and then try your own.

I used the URL option and there not a single link worked sadly, then I switched to Browser and thats where it didnt work all the time.

Browser option must always be on, the other option which has an URL is for playing your own local videos for yourself.

Same here. My friends and I all have the DLC, and have browser + autosync on, but nothing is showing on the monitors.

Also have to trigger the Youtube option below which is the only one for now being integrated as we are babysitting which websites to synchronize. While more arrive you can also check other sites like Watch2gether which allow to create a watch party lobby with more options

And note there will still be SOME youtube vids that simply will not show. Many will, but not all. The video thing is still a WIP so it won't be perfect. I can normally find a decent multi-hour video with music or text stories to listen to while playing, using it as a radio rather than a TV. Netflix and Disney+ also won't work on it at this time.

The videos that won't work seem to be those that the authors disable embedding for them. Have a secondary way of syncing them in the to-do list to be implemented when possible, with the counterpart that all players will have to manually set fullscreen.

They do if you have your settings right and if the others have their settings right. This includes in the DLC area as well as options. If it's not syncing and you have all your settings correct then it's on their side. Either they don't have the DLC, need to set their TV settings to allow it, or in their options to even allow video at all.
