How much does increasing employee level actually help?
Prior to the latest patch, the lines for my cashiers would not extent past 2 the vast majority of the time. I have 5 manned ones, as well as a bunch of self checkouts (even with self checkout perk they don't use them very often.) Since the patch, with the introduction of the employee leveling system, lines will have over 6 people at times. This seems normal if the average employee from last patch was faster than the base employee are now, before leveling them, but I've leveled a cashier to 20, and the speed seems the exact same as it was at level 1. What is the max level an employee can reach, 100? And at what point if any does it actually become faster than what employees were last patch?

I also just have 1 or 2 customers at cashier but have 8 self check out and this 8 are used the whole time. And im just running with 2 cashiers atm (and dont do it by myself).
Cashiers are mentioned in the Patchnote:
'- Employees will earn experience when dedicated at their tasks: earning grades in the assigned task will make them more proficient at that particular task. Note that even an average employee will be more effective than all the ones from the previous system. Some initial improvements to each task depending on level for include:
* Cashiers: to be added soon, sensible suggestions are welcomed.
* Restockers: will slowly earn extra moving speed (added to perks) and more importantly to mitigate restocking times they will be able to restock multiple items at once as they earn grades.
* Storage and security: will earn extra speed (added to perks) as they earn grades. Still thinking what improvement could storage employees benefit from, maybe being able to carry several boxes but its viability has to be studied.'

So cashiers can't get faster with it atm. Just with the skills from skill tree.

This doesn't make sense to me as there is an obvious way to increase the effectiveness of cashier's and I'm pretty sure the devs reduced how good they are at base to take account for this, as my cashiers scan items seemingly much slower than they did before.

Dude its in the Patchlogs i just copy it from their... read it on your own since it doesnt look like you did it in the first place. 'Employees Rework: Part 1' from 19th october.
You have skills in skill tree which make them faster. Maybe you didnt look good before? I can't see a really difference in speed.
If you get more items you also shouldnt forget that customers was always faster then the staff, if you get more items they lay thing above each other so their can be 40 items or more at the cash and the cashier is slow at taking things.

Where was i passiv aggresiv to you? You write it doesnt make sense >to you< and it >seems like< they reduce it.
With this information i can't knew you have read the patch note and it sounds like you dont trust my copied answere from the patch note, and a lot of people in this game don't read them and ask for things mentioned their if you still didn't notice, in fact most of the questions here in threads can be answered with just the patch notes.
And as you mentioned it is a open discussion, so i was trying to help you since most of the people dont read it.

And then you came up with moron...

But after reading your second thread... Ofc your cashier and refiller will lvl faster. And yeah this should be adjustet. But till now it looks like they get exp if they do their job.
Security never has to much to do so they are pretty slow.
Storage have 1 Box they carry and they are real slow at it.
Cashiers are always in work and refiller same.

So yeah the idea of adjust them in lvl is a good idea but this system is their since 5 days and work in progress and you act like it must be perfect by now.

BTW i already read your "dont be passiv aggresiv" post before you delete it ;)
