Hapiness mechanic?

Is there any useful data that showcases the relationship between happiness and productivity? I'd love to know the value of investing in the productivity of my workers so that I can make an informed decision whether or not I'm going to invest in employee happiness sooner as opposed to later.

At the moment hapiness didn't effect anything, that need to be implemented, so you can ignore it for now if you need the money.

The hapiness needs you to have 1 hapiness point per staff member.
So the numbers you see their (+1 for Snack as exemple) means 1 worker will be happy with it alone, but if you have 2 workers and just 1 snack just 1 is happy.
