Upgrading employees?
I played 2-3 days after the latest patch and There are a few things that don't sit well with me.

There are 2 star icons on each employee and I believe the numbers increase day by day. What do those really mean? Is it something like and upgrade point? If so, Can i upgrade an employee's 3 stars restocking ability to 4?

And I hired 12 employees but 10 of them are happy, 2 seems unhappy. I put every avaliable decoration to the staffroom. What should I do more?

Thanks in advance.

If I may ask, how did you get the other 2 employees to show up? We only had 10 appear to assign to places. I am likely missing something somewhere. We have 12 hired, but only the 10 placed.

On the assignment tab, I can see all my 12 hired employees, really don't know what is wrong with yours.

Same. I have all twelve employees perfectly fine. Did you hire them and assign them or just unlock them on the franchise tree?

I unlocked them and after that went to hire all of them. There were only 10 available to hire. Perhaps I need to leave the game and start up again.

employee applications are reset every day. at least that s what the chatlogs say. so you can hire 10 on day 1 and the remaining on day 2. or use one of your rerolls (you get 1 reroll per 5 days on the save).

The number of employees to hire is always 10 and resets daily, another value is your current max employees which can be seen in the dismiss or assignment tab.

Can you also answer my question please?

If you mean what the stars mean: yellow one is an average value of the employees stats when hired being 10 the top, green is an average of the four different grades that are earned while working at the tasks.

I love this employee change!!! It's more robust and I feel more involved in the daily productivity as well as the future of the store. I don't want to be penny smart and a dollar dumb because I hire cheap inexperienced labor, however if there's a long term angle that works into a a cost savings formula that's interesting. It's not abundantly clear at a glance. I mean instinctively I want to hire good people, because time is money which is what I can save by hiring better workers. That being said is there ever a really good reason to hire cheap employees and let them get experience other than saving some up front money? As they gain more experience do they cost more to operate? Is that more or less than they otherwise would if they were hired with the same abilities straight from the board? Could we perhaps have an experience meter for each task for each employee? I guess a tiny bit more transparency and insight would be appreciated. I'll let you guys cook. You're definitely onto something here.

I have the exact same thoughts you do. I hope they answer these questions. In the future, as the gain becomes more complex, I hope they put a manual in-game that you can refer to for information.
