Host a Game Server on VPS???

I want to play with friends, but I want it to always be online for anyone to come and play, without the host being on, is there a way to host a game server on a VPS? (linux/windows)

This game doesn't have any support for a dedicated server. There's also no real way to host this game on a GUI-less system as you need to be able to navigate the menus and all that.

Would be nice to add this feature, you could specify the savegame file to load and it would have a console that would tell your pin or you could specify the pin yourself like `-pin B6XjR8N3` so you could give it to your friends and they could join the server whenever they want, just make a simple command line to start the game in dedicated server mode.. create a batch file and do something like:

`start "Supermarket Together.exe" -dedicated -pin "B6XjR8N3" -save "StoreFile0Day21.es3"`

or yeah something like that.. would be nice.

Coming back to this it would be very helpful - I'm the host but not around much so it'd be nice if everyone else could hop on and do a shift

I'd also want to see this feature. However I imagine it would require the "end day" button logic to be changed as right now only the host can do this. Linux support would be highly appreciated.

That's such a good idea. Real sad it's not in the game.

Easy just change the steamapp_id text inside the game to whatever your group wants to use and then can open a public lobby without others coming in.
