Duplication glitch

This glitch allows you to get infinite items. It's for educational purposes only, and I hope it will be fixed in a future patch/update. (I know it's a single-player/co-op game, but a glitch is still a glitch.)

Yep, we are aware. This will require some extensive core network changes and is caused by the host not recognizing ownership of an item quick enough so several players claim it at the same time. I remember duping items in Payday 2 too back in the day

Can that glitch be fixed by programming a pick up priority for the host in the game? If there are some caculations that need to be run maybe a small pickup animation could help hide that. I dont know if it would work it is just an idea i have
