Feedback & Ideas
Hello everyone!

I've been playing a lot of Super Market Together lately, and I'm enjoying it so far. So I decided, to give some Feedback and Ideas that might be a great addition to the game.

Everything I suggest comes from the point of view of constructive & positive criticism for the developers. They have been working really hard, and they are doing a great job!

From the get-go, the main thing about the game, is that it tries to be "Realistic" in some ways. Of course, it's a Simulator after all, so it needs to resemble a somewhat IRL version of it, but I believe some of the mechanics can be improved to enjoy it better.

So here's a few pointers:

Tiered Products
The bread and butter of the game. Add some sort of leveling system for the products where you can unlock different perks for them, like:

*Each category, it gets a new perk. The quality can go from basic all the way to Premium.
*You can sell them for higher prices based on the quality.
*Higher quality products are more likely to be purchased.

You can gain EXP just by selling the products.

Sponsors from products brands & Mission / Quests
You can get different deals from sponsors that can help you with a particular brand, and get some sort of reputation system between brands.

By doing completing the sponsor deals, you get different rewards, like reduced prices when ordering their products, or they may have higher selling prices if you fail.

A Daily Mission / Quest should give the player a main "objective" to do, aside from just selling, restocking and expanding the store. These can be related to either the Sponsors or even the customers!

Demands and Fluctuation of products
Products can vary due to changes in consumer tastes (Products they purchase), economic conditions (Your store prices & sales), and competitive actions (brand deals and other Supermarkets).

Supermarket Research & Statistics
New building & area, that focus on upgrading the store and the financial aspect of it. Maybe you have to set up a little office first, and employees as well.

It offers reports and stats about the store, like:

*Products sold
*Less & Most products sold
*Profit generated
*Customer Preference
*And more

Also, you can research improvements for your store, to unlock new builds and upgrades. The research cost you money and time.

Reputation / Store Rating
New criteria that allow customers to rate your store based on their experience. You gain Reputation points if the customer leaves happy & satisfied.

Higher Reputation and Store Ratings means:

*Greater amount of clients.
*New clients with higher needs.
*Greater products demands.
*Unlocks better brands, products, & Sponsors.
*Higher-quality employees.
*Better upgrades, research and perks are available.

Of course, having bad ratings can hurt your store by getting fewer clients, more thieves, and so on.

Hiring Agency & employee system
You can access a new service through which you can hire employees with different skills and perks. They can be cheap with no skills whatsoever, or highly trained but more expensive.

Employees gains EXP to level up, based on theirs actions. Once they level up, they can gain perks and skills. They gain EXP proficiency based on the assigned task, getting better and better from doing something.

You can get different types of employees, and each of them can be upgraded, trained, leveled up and be assigned to a specific role.

Small changes & Gameplay mechanics
*Custom size in order. Small, medium, Large and Industrial.
*Tiered Shelves. Small, medium, Large, Extra Large.
*Tiered Checkouts. Even add a self-checkout (Tiered as well)
*Tiered Storage Shelves.
*Tiered Fridges.
*Tiered Freezer.
*Smart shelves, freezers, and fridges. They can display information about the products, the amount, and the optimal price.
*Player Skills / Perks. You can gain exp and lvl up, getting points to unlock certain Skills for the player. Faster stocking, more profit if you work the checkouts, and so on. The player should always be better / faster than the employees!
*Thieves can be set to specific conditions. They are more likely to steal if there are dark places in your store, no vigilance, higher or lower prices on products.
*Grid and free-form systems to place things.
*Option to run ads, discounts, custom services, and offer parking spots for customers.
*Butchering section.
*Vegetables section.
*Labeling system.
*Stackable upgrades of products.
*Server Browser.
*Add more sound effects.
*Possible option to improve performance by unloading the background buildings and such?
*The difficulty system should take into consideration the number of players, difficulty number (0 being easy and 10 being experts), and days.

Final Notes
The game is great, and for being F2P it gives you lots to work with and have a great time. Of course, the main premise of the game is the co-op aspect of it, encouraging players to gather friends and play together.

That being said, as a solo player, the main gameplay loop can get daunting and dull the more you advance. Ordering products, stocking and organizing them takes a huge amount of time, even with employees.

On my current run, I'm playing at difficulty 7 and, honestly, it makes the game more fun, since you have to create a strategy and start thinking about what you need or what you should focus on. Once you start to unlock employees and new types of buildings, you get that "brain activation" for a few moments, but then it quickly fades away xD

You don't get that "progression" feeling when you unlock more stuff, since it's the "same". Products, a few upgrades, employees and that's it. It's kind of counterintuitive, since if you unlock new products, that means you need to spend more time ordering, organizing and stocking.

Overall, the game is really fun, and it's heading in the right direction with the constant updates and feedback from the developers. I know most of these "issues" or nitpicks can be solved with updates in the future.

Thank you for reading, and have a great day! :steamhappy:
