Savegame
Hi guys. My son is autistic and has problems with communication. He likes to play games but cannot play them like regular kids. He just like to explore. He is not able to do "missions". Would any of you be able to provide me (upload) with savegame for the game with already built supermarket? Cheers

This may be a stupid question but are you able to assist him? yknow, "play" together in a sense

Hi. There are no stupid questions. I am able to play with him but he jumps from one game to another. It is hard to keep him interested in one thing for longer. It is because his understanding is limited. He can read but he doesn't understand what he read.. He enjoys exploring and looking at objects. He never completed any missions in games that he has on his computer. He owns Tran Sim World (all of them) but he never even started a train. He just like to walk and look at trains.
Hello again, since I am the only one replying and my supermarket isn't really that advanced (it's more so i try to optimize it), the supermarket together game may not cut it, have you interested him in like walking simulators? with plenty of things to look at and what does he usually appreciate seeing the longest. Here's my https://www.mediafirecom/folder/o8jvip5xw7hgl/DGA_Save (add the dot for com, mediafire is blocked for steam) anyways, extract the files from "DGA Save" to "C:\Users\PC\AppData\LocalLow\DDTNL\Supermarket Together" no too sure how it looks in 32bit

Thank you very much for the save game. I will test it later.

Yes, he is interested in walking simulators. He has plenty of games but most of the games require to do something before player can proceed. For example he has Tacoma. It is typical walking sim BUT even that is too complicated for him. Even lego games that are created for kids are too complicated.

Thank you for your interest. I develop in Unreal Engine and I am in process of making a game for my son. It works great and he likes it but it takes a lot of my time to add new features and that is why I am looking for something that will occupy him for longer time.

I don't understand why Train Simulators (or any other) couldn't have simple controls. Arrows for steering and spacebar for opening doors. Seems easy to do but developers are not interested.

For example No Man's Sky gives you an option to start with everything unloced and infinite amount of money. People criticised that option and said it is stupid. In my opinion the option is great because my son can play No Man's Sky how he wants.

There is another game called Gas Station Simulator. First objective in that game is to switch on electricity. That is already too much for my son. He does not understand and is not interested about how stuff works. That is why I am looking for games that are completed and everything is unlocked.
To me, Train Simulators (etc) do not think about the Spectrum Demographic as they won't be expecting someone that has "issues" to be playing rather than someone that has the normal learning capabilities.

Maybe something simple like an obstacle course/parkour game? Also could he possibly like roaming around a Minecraft City user build. There were games that were popular then that are kind of simple (although it does take some thinking) like Feed The Head, Windosill, Metamorphabet, Little Inferno, Getting Over It (Although this IS a rage game), Goat Simulator, PvZ (Unless he really refuses to learn then back out on this one), Dude Stop, Passpartout, Viscera Cleanup Detail (This is kind of like a Crime Scene cleaner, if your boy is sensitive to that, then don't), Antichamber, Stanley Parable. I could probably go on but I won't be too sure since I am not in either of your places, Roblox may be your next go to place, such as Disaster Survivals.

If this isn't anything sensitive, what kind of Autism does he have? There are different types for each person that are affected by it.

Hi. Thanks for your interest. Leo is diagnosed with ASD. ASD is just general category of spectrum "conditions". There is no high/low functioning autism anymore. They put every person in the same ASD basket.

Leo has problems with communication. His understanding is limited. He can learn things but he does not understand. For example he knows what a garbage truck is but he is not interested why it is where it is and what it does. You look at things and you know what thery are but Leo doesn't know and is not interested at all. He is 8 years old and we never had any normal conversation with him. He only comments about thiings around him but never asks about them. Walking sims are good for him but he already has most of them on his computer.

He is interested in exploring interiors (kitchens, rooms, bathrooms). I create stuff for him in Unreal Engine and he loves to play. I will also check rest of the games you mentioned.

I am interested in your Minecraft Idea, Good Idea! I will look for large cities for him to explore. It will be perfect for him.

He likes to play Goat Simulator but he never done any objectives. He just roam around and look at things. It is ok. If he is interested in simple things I always try to show him something new to play. Recently I found House Flipper. I uinlocked all maps for him and he is happy to explore different houses.

Sorry for my chaotic style of writing but it is hard to compact everything in short message.

Thanks again for Minecraft suggestion. I shell explore.
No Problem, it's seldom to me to actually communicate properly and isn't internet talk or just straight inappropriate (you probably know what I mean) so I really appreciate it, it's a breath of fresh internet air.

The Minecraft thing should be good, lots of builds out there, that could keep him entertained for a long time, heck, users are creating a full life size version of the earth IN Minecraft.

Anybody that writes like that, I like and appreciate, it separates the different topics and doesn't scramble it up making it significantly easier to read as it is now in sections, like I'm literally doing it now cause you have been doing it. ffs I started doing my essay for Asynchronous (weather's pretty bad in the Philippines atm) 30mins ago because of it.

I won't mind any further responses and things, I am just hooked onto our little interaction, makes me feel different about things from time to time, i did mention about "inappropriate talk" I am still in my adolescence period at fif-teen, however I am a bit more intellectually mature or whatever, not too sure what it is. I am sure when he reaches his [Adolescence], it could change a bit, don't stop being a good parent to him, take him around your neighborhood if possible, he may not understand things but it's better than one that complains about it.

I am in UTC +8:00 and I start being online at the earliest 5pm (since my brother takes the morning on the pc) 7pm sometimes and 8pm-onwards at the latest, offline time is most of the time 1am - 2am

Hey, you should try The hunter: Classic, it may not have the best graphics but have a lot of maps and they are big, also, it's free. In the other hand there is The hunter: Call Of the wild, it's a better version from Classic and have beatiful graphics and a lot of places to go walking.

In either case, you can equip your son with only binoculars to make it simple.
