NPC Inefficiency
Hi devs,
I noticed that very often there is a situation where an NPC goes to deliver something to a shelf and the other NPCs take a box from the warehouse to deliver a product to the same shelf. It happens a lot that the shelf is almost full, or only a few items go onto the shelf. And because of this, all NPCs except first one do “empty routes”.
If some sort of flag was implemented that the shelf is “occupied” and other NPCs will not route to it, it would save a lot of time.

this makes for a very slow late game. spend 10 minutes selling items, and 40 minutes restocking.

same problem here. too many idle runs from the npc. refill/restock times too long.
With 175 products, this can easily take up to 50 minutes.
I just want to play, but the game forces me into real life.

Improvements could be:
- NPC improvement
- more NPCs
- more NPC movement speed
- or overnight restock-team

An ai improvement is in the works.

For now use the better employees mod.

Google how to install bepinex and the mod name if you don't know how to set it up.

absolutely agrees on workers speed and rework on singleplayer since not everyone always free to play with me 24/7 like when i were a teenage. restock taking too damn slow that i have to leave the game on and finish like x2 20mins DBD match while workers restocking and still not finish...
robbers on difficulty 0, solo at day 53, they're too annoying not becuz they're hard to detect by scanning gates but they're running at lightspeed [and i already blocking them with freezer to narrow the pathway and slow them down if there's 2 robbers one after another there's only 10% i'll be able to lucky enough to hit them both at the same time if they arent near one another then im F*d. and broom hitting cooldown with this mechanic makes no sense to have that long wind up time, this is not dark souls games. why do i have to hit a robber like 5+ times/person. in solo i already got handful to do, reorder re-stocks, recheck/setting prices, clean up floors and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ toilet paper that can only hold like 2.5 boxes per shelf and run out fast... :skele:

We are currently working in improving the NPC's efficiency, one of the points that will arrive tomorrow are these extra perks:
* Five perks for five additional employees.
* Three perks to have faster checkout speed.
* Two perks to have faster product placement
* Three perks to have even faster movement speed.
* One perk to have employees recycle boxes.
