Play alone without the leader

Can someone tell me if my boyfriend, who created the lobby, always needs to be present during the game session? If I want to play in his absence, what should I do

If he was the one who made the game, then yes as the save file is on that computer and not yours. Or you can simply play on his computer when he's not around.

but we are in a long distance relationship ... We also tried making a backup and putting its file on my computer, but then what is done from my computer is not saved. :(

best u can probably do right now is ask him to keep the game open and his comp afks while u play

Exchanging his save file should be possible, they're located in here:
C:\Users\YOUR-USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\DDTNL\Supermarket Together
You might want to probably rename the store number so it doesn't overwrite yours, p.e. if it's named StoreFile2.es3 rename it to StoreFile99.es3. That way it will always appear last in your loading menu.

Ok, I had already done this with the files, but then, no matter what I did—even playing for 2 or 3 days (day work in the game)—the game doesn’t save, and it stays stuck on the day of the backup file that my boyfriend sent me.Later I’ll try to rename the files. Thank you

J'ai démarer une partie solo que je voulais optimiser avec un équilibre difficulté/efficacité, j'ai trouvé la difficulté 3 pour le premier jour permettait de tenir la caisse sans voleur, alors que le 4 m'en faisait.
j'ai tenu jusqu'à j5, là j'ai pu préparer une 2nd caisse pour le 2nd employé, je voulais tester les diférente dificulté pour voir si je pouvais tenir le réassort, et voir ce que ça donnais sur plus long therme,
mais je ne voulais pas refaire plusieurs foi les premiers jours ....
grace à ça j'ai 3 partie avec le même départ, je vais pouvoir en faire une en dificulté 0, et l'autre en continuant les test d'opti, la 3ème me servira pour faire des partie multi :)
