Toggle halloween mode off.

Hello,

My friends and I are all Christians and really enjoy playing this game. However, we’re not comfortable with Halloween themes. We feel it’s everywhere and, as a result, decided to take a break from playing until after Halloween, hoping that the seasonal content will be removed by then.

Is there any way that future holiday events, such as Halloween or Christmas, could include an option to turn off specific themes? We love the game but feel restricted in playing at the moment due to this content.

No it won't, it will just turn off the ghosts, not the pumpkins, annoying music and stuff. ;-)

Halloween is technically a pagan celebration turned Christian? It's always so weird to me to see modern Christians being uncomfortable with it. Y'all call it All Hallows' Eve though.

Well, what matters to me, is that at this day and age everyone thinks it is OK to show our kids (and ourselves) dead body, skeletons, horror views and stuff like it. Apart from me being christian, I really dislike Halloween stories and stuff, I also do not like horror movies. ;-)

You have a profile pic brandishing a gun while complaining about cartoony images based on Halloween. I'm generally all for accessibility and putting in tweaks to widen the enjoyment of games. But you kinda have to slow down a moment and recognize this is a bit hypocritical.

Noithing hypocritical about playing airsoft, a game, and disliking horror and that kind of stuff. ;-)

I kinda dont want comment here cause it feels like a jester bait, but in the same time I agree on one thing.
I think ask to have a On/off switch to the holiday events is not a bad request, to be fair, the reason is idiotic, honeslty.
Btw Ive seen games have On/Off switches on events, like Neverlooted Dungeon has it on the Halloween event, and also House FLipper let you disable the scares on HW houses. Pretty neat, not gonna lie.

I respect people, generally, but like 90% of Halloween content in this game has to be purchased.
I mean, the floor and wall decors are DLC only, ghost, pumpkins and plants need to be bought in shop, so if you dont like - dont buy it.
Pumpkins on the top of client heads are that scary? Unsetteling?
The ghosts can be disabled, and they also extremely cute.
The pumpking (Terraria reference) outisde honeslty I noticed him after like 3 days of playing cause I was so busy in the shop that I didnt go outside / look up. You can totally play and not even pay attention to that guy.
What else, music? Just fricking disable it. I never play this game with music, in general, is so annoying (sorry dev). Just drop your music in background and disable the game one. I not see a problem, Im pretty sure that like 70% of people never play with game music on.

Why i think this feels like a jester bait? Because the horror is very slim and skippable, and in general is cartoony. Also there is no blood, no gore, no violence whatsoever.

That is very different from the games you own and play on steam. Yes you have an open profile and I like to snoop.

I just think if you just said "There is a way to disable Halloween and future holyday events?" no one would have say anything, but the reasoning, is pretty hypocritical.

Eh, it really is. Halloween and cartoony images of horror are no less a harmless imitation than a casual war simulation. Well, a bit more harmless, really. Injuries still occur in Airsoft.

I thank you for your comment, and I respect your opinion. It is, however, not jestering, I am not joking. It is forced upon everyone, I really dislike it. In this game, and other game, that;s why I made this post. :-)
