Report a translation problem
With a perk that's possible- but without the perk 18 was the max before this.
Basically, where any customer that has more then 6 items but less then 18 (which is max amount of items a customer will have that can use the self checkout) has a chance to steal a random item in there cart. Looks like theoretical maximum amount of item's they could steal is 3 of their 17. No where do you see this in-game, but looking @ the code for self checkout's it simply removes the random items from their cart and from their total before they pay.
Also note only customer's that pay in credit card can use self checkout, and then only customers that have between 6 and 18 items.
Checking the code look's like the perk adds an additional 4 to the maximum, 22 is the absolute max one could have.
