How to empty a shelf?

I've got a product accidentally filling 2 shelves, but want to remove it from one. So far the only way I know how is to use an empty box of the same product, but I don't have any, just a half full one which can't hold all the product on the shelf. I'm on day 19 and need the workers auto stocking, so can't really wait for the shelf to be emptied by customers because the workers will auto stock it during the day.

How to empty it? Am I forced to stop the workers auto stocking and let customers deplete entire store till that shelf is empty, or is there a simpler way I'm not aware of?

Previously, we could delete shelves even if they had products on them, but now that’s no longer possible.

Here’s an alternative: buy an empty box in the manager board (found at the bottom right) to retrieve the products from the shelf. Once the shelf is empty, you can either sell it or clear the label. To do this, use the pricing gun, point it at the empty spot, and right-click. This will prevent your employees from restocking the previous product in that spot.

Thanks! Buying empty box to remove product and using pricing gun to remove price was exactly what I was trying to do. :)
