How is your mulitplayer experience with random joins?

The last two days, I wanted to try to randomly join a multiplayer game. But it turns out to be very exhausting. The most of my attempts, it was not possible for me to find a suitable game of all these available lobbies.

Sometimes they only make ♥♥♥♥.
They kick me
They don't answer, if I ask, whether I may join.
Sometimes the store is just new and having more players don't make sense.

Maybe 1 out of 6 attempts may be a success. This kind a sucks. Do you have made similar experience? I gave up trying.
