We have an online backup file uploaded here: https://easyupload.io/pr2w4h
It has 200.000$, in day 25 and plenty of franchise points, although if you indicate more or less what you had in the file we could recreate it better for your case. You would have to place all the furniture etc.
Files are placed in :C:\Users\YOUR-USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\DDTNL\Supermarket Together
Check these points:
- With the game closed make sure if the store files are still there in the local folder located in:
C:\Users\YOUR-USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\DDTNL\Supermarket Together
They are named StoreFileX.es3, Steam Cloud could be removing and restoring them.
- Visit the Steam storage webpage: https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage
And check if any files are present in Supermarket Together, they sometimes can be downloaded manually from there.
- Also check if Steam is in offline mode and turning on/off Steam Cloud for the game makes a change.
Individual games:
From the Steam Library, right click on any game and select Properties....
Under the General tab, the Cloud Synchronization setting can be toggled.
All games:
From the Steam client Settings window, navigate to the Cloud tab.
Cloud can be enabled or disabled using the toggle next to Enable Steam Cloud Sync for applications that support it.
- As a last resort, we could feed you with a gamefile with the day, money and franchise points that you think you had. It would suck placing everything and such, but at least it's not a new start.
First of all I have to mention I did not try the above points you guided me towards, however it seems like i was able to find my save.
I think this issue is related to using multiple Steam accounts and switching between them (for other games). There is not a save of my store in my main steam account that I was using to play Supermarket Together, but somehow there is a save on my other account.
It is possible that I have launched the game after the latest update with the other account and the save might've moved there. Not sure about this one.
Hi,
thank you for your reply.
After some investigating today (I have not really tried the things you mentioned besides checking the Steam cloud storage), it seems like the issue is related to using multiple steam accounts. Or atleast that is the case for me.
I use few Steam accounts for other games and for some reason, whenever trying to launch the game on my other accounts, one of them, I was able to see my save. It seems like after the update, I was logged into the other account and the save went there instead.
I will try to look into this a bit more.
Just to mention, I have not re-installed the game at all, everything mentioned just happended after the update. If you did uninstall the game, it might be possible the same will not apply to you.
C:\Users\YOUR-USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\DDTNL\Supermarket Together
is empty!
https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage
no files
- Also check if Steam is in offline mode and turning on/off Steam Cloud for the game makes a change.
- It didn't help
I did manual save on day 23
but when I played last time it was day ~79
Thx, but no. I will not be playing another 3 days to place all the stuff like I did that in first try.
can i have a backup save like that? it was expired and after loosing my store after 1 week of play i dont want to restart
