we're having an issue with our self checkouts not working. we have about 15 self checkouts but they only use the first 5-6 that we placed.

Will recheck the behaviors just in case, note some customers will prefer manned checkouts over self checkouts too

Can confirm that, 4 - 5 open manned checkouts but they only use like max 6 self checkouts

I got one to help with the robbing. Like, nobody used it. I'm so sad. I'm already bouncing between two registers and having one AI on another and only one stocker. I'm dying lmaooo

Customers will prioritize checkouts both operated and self by the order in which they were placed before forming lines and such. If they're not forming lines, then you have a ways to go before more customers start flooding the store to make use of the additional checkouts.

I had 2 manned checkouts and 13 self checkouts and at best only got them onto 11 self checkouts. And this was in the 80-110 day range with all expansions. So there does seem to be a limit to how many customers there'll be at any one time, based on whichever factors.

My street was just FILLED with produce after a day I tried to have no cashiers and only self checkouts, so I would NOT recommend this to anyone if thinking about it.
