what is the best way to price items?
is there a percentage or sweet spot to aim for when pricing items? like a percentage or range to follow? the only thing the game tells you is to not double the market value, but i've noticed some items are selling more frequently than others or not at all (even without doubling the market value).

Until it is tweaked, yeah, the double price rule is valid for everything, your customers just may have a random fancy for chocolate

lmao maybe. the most difficult ones so far seemed to be the teas, but a little trial and error eventually got them nudging off the shelves.

For me 2x xx:xx -0.20 works the best

I usually do x2 - .05 and never had an issue

Always think %'s. In real life 20% is a good start. In game I have tested this in 5% increments. Starting at the 20% I am not at 90% and successful. If your new to %'s Use your calculator {price} + {percentage you want} % = (Example 1.54 + 50% = 2.31)
it works every time when i do [Market price] x 2 - 0,05

Mine are double market price, then rounded down to the nearest 0.05 or 0.00. Very seldom do I have a customer complain that something is too expensive, but it's pretty rare.

Can someone please explain how to price change faster that 1c a second? I dont want to destroy my finger scrolling for 2 minutes straight to up the price $18.

you can use your numpad
I always do exactly price * 2 - .01 and never have a problem. If you do have customers complaining, then something must be overpriced somewhere
