Add to GeForceNow
I wanna try this out with my GF, but right now, she is not able to install a game on her PC.
She is an avid user of GeForece Now (cloud gaming), and we would love to see this added.

It's fairly easy to do, and I provde you with an email to reach out to GFN so theycan help you set it up.

"For game publishers or developers looking to add games to GeForce NOW, please reach out to your NVIDIA contact or email GFNPublisherFeedback@nvidia.com"

Noted but we will address secondary errands like this when possible, I have sent today to main dev like 3 sheets of prioritary feedback to solve

It should just be a simple developer opt-in via a Steam process with a few checkboxes... no code updates needed, I believe:

I've sent a request to GFN on their end, and they usually reach out to the developer. Hopefully, this can be added soon.

Yes, I have heard that it should be super straight forward, and more of a checkbox thing and not really any changes in code or what ever.

How to Sign Up as a Developer

1. The Actual Authority user of your Steamworks account must sign the new Steam Cloud Gaming Addendum by logging into Steamworks and clicking the following link to sign the Addendum:
https://partner.steamgames.com/newpartner/signlatestsda/?agreement_type=13

2. In Steamworks, you need to approve the games you would like to show up in GeForce NOW. Please take the following steps.

3. Search for the app you would like to approve for Cloud Play. Click on this app to go to the App Landing page.

4. Click “Edit Store Page” and navigate to the “Basic Info” tab.

5. Find the "Cloud Play" section and select two boxes
“Enable your game to run streamed from the Cloud, hosted by Valve, and the following service providers:” and “NVIDIA GeForce NOW.”

6. Navigate to the "Publish" tab and publish your store page changes.

7. Repeat this store page edit for all other applications you wish to approve to be available on GeForce NOW.

Am I allowed to bump? ;)
DDTNL  [developer] Oct 7, 2024 @ 3:20pm
Yep, it's nice to bump stuff. Have taken an extensive look and Geforce Now is dependant on Steam Cloud saving activation which would be already in if it wasn't for one detail: Cloud syncing links the entire save folder which would also include the Game settings file and we are finding a way to exclude it.

We could enable it but for players that play p.e. in two computers or in their Steam Decks they would have to set settings like resolution everytime and that could be annoying.

Oh okay, that's annoying yeah.

They often go with that and from what I have searched then players have to deal with it :steamhappy:
If we had know we couldn't exclude files from the start we would have modified the saving system accordingly to bypass this, right now doing so it's delicate but will attempt it in the future as having cloud saving is desirable.
