Items missing when non-host stocks
Hi! Me and my friends are LOVING the game! We just wondered if anyone else had a problem or a fix to when a non-host is stocking items, there seems to be items missing? So instead of 30 items they would stock only have 21 and the rest of the items are just missing.

It's an oldie topic so will mark this as answer. Somewhere after this issue was reported a new setting called "High Latency" was implemented in options, make sure any joining player activates it and they will restock slower but in bulk to counteract small delays they could have in syncing with the host.

A couple things...

1) Make sure that the player stocking ensures that if there is stock already on the shelf they are stocking, it will fill that row up and the remaining will be on the box. If they look down with the camera, they'll see how many are left in the box.

2) If the above isn't the issue, I found the affected players leaving the game and coming back in usually fixes it. It seems that when one player does something, the networking doesn't always update on the other players screens, especially when upgrading the store so they have to get out and get back in.

It definitely isn't this because the boxes are empty but we don't have the stock on the shelves as well.

And in regards to this one, no one can see it tbh. It's as if the product disappeared. When they held it there was 30 in the box but when they held left click to stock it, there was only 21 on the shelf and the box was empty. It was on everyone's screen.

Are there any solutions you can think of?

Thanks for the help!

Hmm, weird, we will be monitoring the boxes storage system to see if we can ever replicate it.

Out of curiosity, are you playing in English or another language?

I'm playing it in English!

We had the same issue yesterday. When a non-host player was stocking items on shelves, it placed around 50% of the amount in the box.

Context:
I buy a box and clearly see 100%. I let the non-host player place the items on the shelf, whether it's empty or not, and when I remove the items myself or just look at the shelf, I see that only around 50% has been placed.
This doesn't seem to be related to the day, as I had noticed this issue before, but I mentioned it to him on day 16.

I am currently playing to someone's market, I just grabbed a new/full box of item which has x20 product in it. I placed them on the shelf, you only see half of the product plus when you box it again, you lose 1 product, so you only get x19. I think it only happens once, I was redoing it, still x19 after stock and restocking the same product.
1st box: x19

2nd box: x18

Aye can confirm this is happening to our game also, I am the host but it seems it's non host affected for our game.

Yeah, same for me as non-host. I was stocking items and lost at least half of the items when placing them on the shelf.

Seems to happen when the ping difference with the host is too high, we're still considering a solution that doesn't affect clients much

if your ping is too high and you place items really fast on shelves, some of those items will not register completely on the host's end causing items to disappear

Even if I click the mouse button really slowly, I still get product loss. I attempted a one click and it took two items out of the box while only stocking one.

I am located in Thailand and the host was in eastern US so the ping times are high.

Hmm, will note this. Delay is one thing but products disappearing is actually data packet loss.

As of this date, I have also noticed the bug mentioned by the OP. When joining a friend's game. For example: if there are 9 "skimmed cheese" in the fridge, and I empty a full box of x50 on top of it, I am not getting 59 as the end stocked result in the fridge. I have tried leaving and rejoining, and the issue remains.
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
