Hello, I'm trying to play with my friends, only one of the 3 is blocked when he joins, 0 money in the top left for him, not for us 2 ( screen below )

Hmm, weird, that idle screen means that he's not receiving information correctly from the host. The way for checking this would be for him/her to host and check if the rest can join or do lag.

We tried and the bug occurred on my 2nd friend and myself. The one with the bug is in Switzerland, I'm in France and the second friend without the bug is in Belgium.

UPDATE !! My friend finally had a problem with his antivirus! He has Norton, problem solved

Hello, i have the same problem with both me and my friend, we are both in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, We both don't have Antivirus on or Firewall or any kind of virus protection thing, and we still can't play together.
I am hoping for this problem to have a solution soon because me and my friend were excited to play the game from it's first ad and now we can't which is a heart breaking moment.

Update: After following what ZobEnjoyer said, i turned off all my anti virus websites and it worked, it is all because of Firewall and Norton and Antivirus, if anyone has Norton on then he wont be able to play.

Glad to hear, maybe try to add Steam and this game as an exception as disabling an antivirus doesn't look like a good idea

Hello, i have the same problem but i don't have any extra antiviruses installed but the windows one. i can play this game singleplayer but i cant host or join anyone hosting.
do you have anymore solutions please?

My friend and I added the game and Steam to the exclusions of our antivirus (built into Windows) and turned off the firewall. Nothing helps, I just stand still and see a static picture

When you host you get a freeze too? That does mean that there's something external that is preventing your client to communicate with Steam and make a lobby, hmmm.

Same answer as above I'm afraid, there's something preventing your game to communicate with Steam, maybe you have Windows Defender or the Windows inbuilt firewall on?

The game keeps freezing when hosting and playing with another person. This only started happening today. We're about 12 hrs in (>20 days). Previous freezes were very slight, now we cannot complete the day. I don't have any additional antiviruses
