there is a bug with franchise points

It happened to me more than once that I had fewer franchise points than required to unlock part of the skill tree but even if I had fewer points it still gave me the level


for example
I have 1 franchise point

to unlock the basic product level you need 3

I clicked anyway and it took away the only point I had and gave me the level of the basic products

what is the tier?

All perks take one franchise point for now, that may change in the future depending on progression feedback. The number you see is the tier of the same chain of products: Basic Products I, Basic Products II, III, IV etc
