Just unlocking new items makes customers want them!?
Kinda lame so by just unlocking items to sell (never stocked) you MUST stock them or customers get mad? I'am i missing something?

unlock them after you finish a day and wait until you have enough money to buy shelves + new items, otherwise you will blamed for not having the new things in the shelves

Ye, but is there any real impact to these complaints? do less people come the following day because there were missing items/prices/filth complaints?

This is just speculation

But unlocking a new perk that unlocks this produce, actually gives customers "priority" in buying/requesting that item. I've noticed for as long as I have just recently unlocked something, that will be one of their "top" items on their list

So ignoring this item and not stocking it, actually gives you less sales per day, so I wouldn't unlock something if you can't or won't stock it. That's just me guessing though

e.g. when I unlocked Diary, all days post unlock, they were buying out yoghurts
then I unlocked, things like Dog/cat food (forgot perk name), they stopped prioritising yoghurts so I stopped heavily stocking it, and started going for canned stuff all the time. Probably works something like that, maybe it evens out at some point

You seem to be correct. As a side note, its a good idea to sit on expensive unlocks without unlocking other things for awhile.

Few days of sushi is a massive early boost in eco

Not having the items you unlocked killed my sales all they wanted was the stuff i never had in my store but unlocked, so all day people buying one maybe 2 items if not just leaving.

yeah, its kinda a learning trap.

Best to save up before getting a new product line, then dump hard into it.
