Sorry to hear about this.
De-syncs like this are possible in any turn based network gaming. It often happens if there is a disruption in the connection or if information isn't communicated properly between systems.
So that I can tell the team what to look for, I'd like to ask for confirmation of the following:
- How many players
- How many worms each
- Roughly how far into the game (in turns or time)
- Does the issue occur immediately after a certain event or action (such as a particular weapon, entering sudden death, drowning worms, cluster weapons, etc...)
- Whether the game corrects itself after any number of turns
- The differences between what's seen on one screen from the other
Once I've got this, the guys can conduct an investigation and hopefully figure out what's causing this.Thank you,
BenTeam17
Thank you for getting in touch.
StormKitten, any information that you can provide might be a help. I really appreciate you taking the time to look into this.

Thank you for getting back in touch with all of this information!
I really appreciate the extra lengths that you've gone to in providing a video.
The WormNet errors that you're experiencing seem to be a result of your current set-up for TCP/IP games. To successfully play in this network mode, you need to manually set both machines to connect via TCP/IP.
Instructions on how to do this can be found on the page linked below:

The disconnection issue that you've reported has now been raised to the team for investigation. I might need to get back in touch for more information while we look into this.
Sorry in the meantime for any inconvenience it might cause you.
For any other problems that you (or your partner) experience, please feel free to raise a new thread in the How to report a problem sub-forum.
Thank you,

playing on WormNET is still not working. i have a modem and a router. both has UPnP support and port forwarding function. UPnP and port forwarding (17010-17012) enabled. but i guess the problem is between Steam and GOG builds and not a hardware or network issue. i also set up a dynamic DNS service on my router to check with it but no luck. i have no clue now what's wrong. maybe with another Steam clients should work but i have no mates sadly.
the lag/de-sync is still present on local game server. i try to provide as much information i can so now i attached the diagnostics:
DxDiag from GOG client[pastebin.com]
DxDiag from Steam client[pastebin.com]
Thanks for getting in touch with this additional information.
I'm glad to hear that the "death and freeze" issue has been fixed with an update.
If you could, please get back to me with updated images of what you see when you attempt to connect to one another though WormNet, and your configuration settings for network multiplayer.
Once I have this, I'll take a closer look.
Thank you,
BenTeam17

here's an image about my net settings[i.imgur.com].
Thanks for sending all of this information over.
After taking a close look, it seems like only one thing isn't completely right.
Your IP is currently listed as starting with an '8'. It should be something closer to '192.168.0.222'.
To find out your exact IP address, please follow these steps:
- Use the Windows search bar and type 'cmd'
- Open 'cmd' - Command prompt
- Type the following then press enter - 'ipconfig'
- Note down your IPv4 address
Once you have your IP address, please copy it into your net settings within the game.If you're still having problems, please get back with the information below, and I'll look into this further:
Thank you,
BenTeam17
When you run 'IPconfig' in your command prompt, you should see something similar to the following:
Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection 3:
The IP address that you'll need to set up in the game is the 'IPv4 Address' (highlighted in bold above).Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : {LINK REMOVED}something.com
Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : aa00::00a0:a0a0:a00a:a000%00
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.111
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 000.000.000.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 000.000.0.000
Please try this on both systems and let me know if you notice a change.
Thank you,
BenTeam17
