Besides the missing entries, is the game not launching?
Regards,
Team17 Support
This began when I set the resolution to 640x480 (which my monitor and graphics card support) via the ingame options. I was hoping that removing the registry entries would force the game to revert back to the default of 1280x720, since just disabling the steam cloud service and reinstalling the game did not do so.
Can you try to run the game as an administrator and in compatibility mode?
1. Launch Steam
2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Manage > Browse local files
3. Right-click on the games .exe file
4. Choose Properties
5. Navigate to the Compatibility tab
6. Select Compatibility Mode and in the dropdown list please select Windows XP/Windows 7/Windows 8.1
7. Check the box for Disable display scaling on high DPI settings
8. Check the box for Run this program as an administrator
9. Select Apply and OK
10. Attempt to run the game

As for starting the game, results remain the same with any combination of compatibility boxes checked or unchecked.
Edit: I've solved the problem by deleting the save folder from the worms world party folder. The game starts and seems to run as usual. Thank you for trying to help though.
Sorry to hear you're also having this issue.
It looks like Karl Perkins solved their issue by deleting the save folder from the worms world party folder.
Can you please do this and test your game?
You can go here:
:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\WormsWorldParty\save
or you can right-click the game and go to properties - local files - browse.
Delete the 'Save' folder.
We hope this helps!
