Crap horrible interface, no remaster there. Still in bad 640x480 screens. It is pure turd. What where they thinking?

1080 resolution.. matters not when everything is so zoomed out. Maybe I missed the 'Zoom In' button, but right now on a big screen it is tiny and worthless for playing.

Gamepad support, ummmmm.... they did a crap job. It is a Pinnacle/Keyboard remap job. Just horrible.

I don't know why I keep buying their games. Every time, the do a bad job. This is not worth the money.

Time to use the steam Refund. Sad Team17 (or whatever is left there).

This is not a remaster, it is fan patch. As a fan patch you expect it to be not "Pay Money For It Quality"

Except, paid money for this embarrassment. Thank God I can get the money refunded.

As I know, there was no zoom in or out button. How wide you can see depends on screen resolutions. Higher your resolution, wider screen you can get. That was the old retail version's rule. I dont know about this remastered one but I guess it's same. So I need this game to have some UI scaliing options.

Is there anyone who plays WA casually? Everytime I always tried playing WA online people always play shopper and I'm not really one for ninja roping or getting kicked because I suck

Is it true what the OP said about gamepad support? That was the feature that had me interested in this remaster the most, since it's easier to pass a pad around with friends then a keyboard and just generally my preffered meathod of input

The gamepad control is pretty much what you would have if you used Joy2Key or Pinnacle to map keyboard and mouse to the gamepad.

It is what you would get from fellow fans of Worm that want to use a gamepad. It is not what you would expect from a Remaster version of a game from the so-callled creators of the game.

My best guess, is they have no source code for the game, and have boot-strapped fan built workarounds onto this release. It smells of a shoddy firm that just happens to have the rigthts to the game.

Maybe I am wrong, but this is the same cheap and shoddy release they seem to do all the time.

Team17, or whomever is control of the license, is a shovel-ware POS firm.

I've had it. I own all their other releases, but this is the last straw.

No more if you bought this garbage, get a refund. I did.

Perhaps the negtive feedback and fallout will have an impact. Thanks to the refund we can vote with our walllets and hit these scam artist developers where it hurts.

Holy crap! I didn't know Armageddon is the "old style" Worms. I was hugely disappointed by this no effort "remaster" cashgrab, and just want to play the old worms on steam with proper setting. Thank you for introduced me to WA.

Judging from the negative impression wave came with its release, I'm gonna stay away from this product and stick to my ancient WWP CD. Still works perfectly, too.

On a side note: With a friend of mine, we had managed to make it work online, though I don't remember how. There must be a findable guide on google on how to make it work. Look for it and stay the ♥♥♥♥ away from this dumb piece of koala ♥♥♥♥.

What makes this WWP steam release use the word "Remastered":
- full controller support
- 1080p / 60FPS
- enhanced weapon sounds
- improved frontend
I don't count steam achievements because it's common stuff for a game on steam.

So what's left... improved sound effects?

More on the higher resolution vs zoom. Worms Reloaded has is done right. Higher resolution doesn't make everything smaller, just more detailed. Once you're used to some scale, zoomed out stuff is really bad - it breaks the immersion, estimation of shots, splash damage range etc.
