1) scrolling with it is shaky and tearing with or without vsync 60 fps
2) the selecting of target for weapons like teleport, homing missle is terribly slow during scrolling. It takes 1 sec to select a location with yr mouse and 5-10 secs to move from mid to end map with a controller.
The cursor speed for the controller is adjusted to super slow because it is sync to cursor movement with menu speed for selection of weapons. They did a very lazy support for controller.
Selling controller support but with halve ass remastered cash grab.
Overall game:
1) 60 fps is not consistent and always dips when there are effects and explosions.
2) some sound packs are not included in this remastered version. need the old cd to copy from.
3) the game now overwrites the mouse cursor speed setting (setting it to an annoying super slow speed) in your Control Panel, and if it crashes, you'll have to fix it manually.
U can actually play the old version with a hd patch, and it is way smooth.
its playable. i got it playable for windows 7,10 64bit. just need to look for the hd patch. It works for all resolutions.
Its better then the remastered version. It runs at any fps you can support.
nah prefer world party. yes the remaster is hopeless cash grab, which they abandoned fixing the above weak ports.
They care more about the new game coming out. i wouldnt support them after knowing their style.
After the patch that finally come out for it, I can definitely recommend it now. If you played WWP back in the day, well its pretty much that just updated. Can even use the old audio files if you wish or the remastered ones.
Anyway seriously the original has everything it has, in hd and above 60 fps if you ever wanted.
I am always talking about this new patch all along. Clueless again..
I guess you ignore the other issues players have with this new patch?
What i can suggest to you is read the forums before you type.
If the original works too in hd and bugless, there is no point to get the "remastered" with bugs.
