Big fan of how phase 3 turned out. Haven't explored it all yet but I've seen enough to know I really like it. Sounds like it won't have to be another two years to wait for phase 4. Can't wait for that.

Main things I'm hoping for:

- Complete and total overhaul of San Diego. It's the only city in California that I'm reasonably familiar with in real life and it's totally generic in ATS.

- Route 58 between Barstow and Bakersfield in real life is a freeway (or divided highway) the entire length between I-40 and Rt 99. Hate the bottlenecks at either end of it in the game.

- I-10 and I-15 meet in the middle of sprawling suburbia but you'd think by the game it's out in the countryside. Hope the Inland Empire (goodness what a haughty name) is better-shown.

The thought just occurred to me. Is the California rework as large as the Germany rework? :steamhappy:

Appreciate everything, SCS!

I hope they add Val Verde together with Six Flag Magic Mountain as a scenery town. You can literally see the park from Interstate 5. Since Six Flag Discover Kingdom is absent from Vallejo, it would be nice if we get at least this one.

Other scenery towns I hope that appear are Anaheim, San Bernardino, Cabazon with the dinosaur park as a viewpoint, Palm Springs (If possible, even as a new city), Baker with the World's Tallest Thermometer and Salton City with the Salton Sea.

This looks extremely promising, continuing the amazing work seen with Phase 3!

Can't wait to see a preview of Bakersfield. c:

It's so empty between Phoenix and LA that I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Palm Springs added as a destination city.

As a California Resident, I am excited to see this happening. California does have some amazing views, and I am happy to see that this game is now starting to get better views.
