How do I use my own trucks AND play with friends?

I can get into a job with a friend and deliver stuff and I also found out how to do jobs with my own truck, but where do I go to use my own truck AND play with friends? Like we both deliver the same thing in our respective trucks that we bought.

Doesn't work. When my friend goes into a job with his own truck (the 2nd option, I think called freight market) it says N/A for the job hes doing.

If it says "N/A" then they haven't taken a job. One of you has to accept a job and then the other can take the same job. You won't both see that same job offer, as the Quick Job and Freight Market lists are generated locally by your own games.

To expand, by "Taken a Job", you have to be at the business where the job comes from, not just select it from the Freight Market menu. When you select it from the freight market, you have not taken a job, it is just showing you where to go in order to take that job. You must follow your friend to the pickup location (that only he has a GPS route for), and once he has parked on the icon, and fully accepted the job, then you can go in the menu and take the same one.

The game wouldn't allow me to use a owned truck from from single player mode instead it gave me a truck to use until I bought one in multiplayer but it let me go to my own garage in multiplayer
