Forum Database Leak (From site)

Just in case you missed it,

"At about 17:00 CET (Feb 24th) an unauthorized user gained access to the forum database which contains usernames, passwords and email addresses.

We got notified about the breach about 17:30 and proceeded to investigate how the breach had happened and ensure that no other data was obtained.

The breach happened by obtaining the passwords of a team member's account and then dump the database using IPB's built-in utilities, hence only forum accounts where compromised. Passwords where stored in a cryptographically manner and were salted.

We are reasonably certain that we have contained the issue and have disabled the forums for now pending a security review of the software to ensure no backdoor was left behind.

Users may have received an email offering to sell the database.

It was only for the forum part of the website they have.. Nothing dealing with your steam account.

You still should be able to. Record them upload video to YouTube as unlisted report them through the site (not forum) and link the video in the report discription. Just make sure to do /pinfo (player ID) in game while recording the incident.

Sounds like a certain mod producer should get better security...cough cough i only say this because the MP is fun as it brings all of us from around the world together in gaming.

You can still report people.. You just cannot access the forums. They have disabled it right now to prevent backdoor issues.

I'd looked at it before, but for some reason I'd thought it was somehow linked to the forum.
